The hairstyle as well as the position of the hands, are classic elements of Baule sculpture. The red color is a representation of light color skin, particularly appreciated by Baule. However, the arms away from the stomach and prominence of the breast are not usual.

The facial traits partially absorbed by sacrificial material, are pure and very well balanced. The ensemble is remarkably proportioned.
